5.2L or 5.9L in a 94-99 XJ ????

Any of you guys ever swap in a Dodge 5.2L Magnum or 5.9L into a 94- 99 XJ Cherokee? Was wondering if the unibody could handle it, seems to be plenty of room for it. Thanks

Id hope so, since the ZJ is a unibody too. Answer is yes. In my opinion it will.

It seems I read of one being done where the guy used a dakota motor-side engine mount and a ZJ frame side motor mount. I think he used a Dodge manual tranny. On my computer at work, I have a picture of an XJ with a 5.2 in it that a guy was selling on ebay a few months back so it can fit. If you do it, I'd do a 5.9. Practically the same block and exact same external dimentions as the 5.2. I have a 95 ZJ that I swapped a 5.9 into and I love it! Here are a couple starter threads.
