^my thought exactly, im pretty F'n pissed, i just spent a week at training on the other side of the island with no electricity, sleeping in an abandoned building and not showering for a week drinking water out of a garden hose, and i come home and last see my jeep in the parking spot under the carport at about 8:30 pm and woke up this morning at 11:15 and my wife asking "wheres the jeep ?".
i spoke to the neighbor and she last saw it at 11pm on dec 3 and then at 1 am she went back out and it wasn't there. the motherF'rs who took it drove or pushed it across the lawn next to the townhouse out to the road and either drove off with it or towed it to god knows where.
It F'n figures i get something nice and some bitch punk takes it away

that royally sucks dude. i understand the violation feeling. i have been burglarized (sp) twice back in bham and had my car stereo stolen back in college... granted never a whole car... but i understand the feeling.
i hope you catch the filthy bastards that think they got away with it. if not they will get theirs in the end. hopefully you had insurance on it????

Yeah I have some leads im gonna follow. I got it back because I posted a help ad on craigslist and I got a hit on it last nite that turned out to be true.
Whoever it was punched all the door locks and the ignition cylinder, stole the stereo and syphoned the gas, scraped all the stickers off the glass, scratched the paint, etc.
Hopefully Ill chat with my insurance today and go from there

Fixed the link. You had an extra HTTP:/ at the front and an extra / at the end, and IMG tags instead of URL tags.

Well its Totaled, as per my insurance, im gonna keep it for now, but i dont know when im ever gonna get a chance to work on it. I've been pretty busy at my new unit with long days like 18 hours.
On the bright side:sunshine:, I've located a sweet 2001 limited, if all goes well it will be the next XJ in the family.

if you didn't have to worry about shipping it, i'd just hang on to it, and build is as a dedicated trail beater, if the insurance is going to pay you for it. everytime i've had the insurance total out a vehicle, it was a blessing in diguise! i ended up getting paid, and getting to turn the vehicle into a toy, without worrying about DailyDriverability.
