This is how she started her life with me. Terrible rust and needing a tune up.

SO after that last pic I went wheeling and bent a 35 shaft. :rattle: Im on 235s WTF? HOW?
SO im looking at picking up a 8.25 29 spline next weekend :wave1:

Plans are to do some brake upgrades and put the shocks on the outer part of the frame rails. Then cheap 33-35s with lots of skids :skull2:

good plan, friend of mine has been wheeling a d35 on 33's for a while & its held up but I have seen them snap barley doing anything...

I was being super gentile in the rock but no. :firedevil
I eased in and out of it. Meh. Im going to go for a aussie or maybe just weld it.

I wouldent put any money in the d35 I would just weld it up for now and continue to look for an 8.25.

or since it looks like you can weld you could do an 8.8 out of an explorer. Alot of people have good luck with them. just weld the tubes to the center section and you have a pretty strong axle. and I dont remember but probably disk brakes too.

I have 3 8.25's in my garage if you want a better rear

If its a 29 spline and below $100 Ill take it. Thats what the current offer I have is from SIS.

I kind of need something that I can put in fast, I dont like driving around on a bent dana 35 shaft. The vibes get fun at highway speeds.

High Idle came back. Win.
Would a 48 ar trim tubro be to small for a 4.0 running on 5-6 psi boost?
Just thinking out loud.

I am not going crazy. I'm going to do the axle then my drivetrain is done.
I'm just thinking out loud, well for tuning what's up with a fmu?

Im talking to Bryson (boostwerks) and PseudoSport :wave1:
This forum is epic. Im also talking to TurboTPI, on the jeepforum.
If I were to do a turbo setup I would want a 4-6 PSI Setup, with a .48AR and .60 side. This is for a fast spool, but enough to carry power till the rev limiter.
I love Brysons manifold, but do to the fact that I spent around $500 on the jeep putting a $800 manifold is a lot of dough. You follow?
For tunning either a megasquirt or FMU and boost timing retard, Best options for a reasonable amount of money.
For me the order of opperations would be
8.25 29 spline then Boost.
For the tranny a radesigns BAJA II.

God is it nice to have a job! That pays halfway decent!

So herrrrrrr da durrrrrrrrrr
I am bored and need cheap ideas for the jeep.

Sawzall blades are cheap, go to town on the sheet metal.

Were?
Backs trimmed already, I need to do the fronts but I want at least 32-35 tires first....
