Bought my '99 in 2003 for $5500 with 68000 on the clock. Needed 2 new tires and the belt. Now it has 130000 and still running strong.

2000-01? - '86 (Char-Broil) - $500 and put a new 4 cyl in it :puke: it went up in flames about 6 months later, hence the name, "Char-Broil"

I bought my 96 Sport in Jan 04 with 94k miles, all stock except for tinted windows, an old Alpine CD player, and mismatched tires (235/70 up front, 225/75 rear) and a "bad" NSS for $4500. They could barely start it, it started and ran fine for me for nearly 6 months, then when the NSS finally did crap out, I learned from the people here how to fix it for the cost of grease and brake/carb cleaner. Saved me the $400 they wanted for it...:D

It now has the stuff in my sig and about 154k.

Got my first 2000 XJ in 2003 with 78,000 miles for about $8400. I still think its a smokin deal. Now has 148,000 and is just getting broken in.

Just bought a 1998 XJ for parts with 261,000 miles for $900. It still runs but throws a couple codes....no smoke and no knocks though.

1992 Laredo: bought it bone-stock, straight and clean as a DD for $10,500 in December 1997 (found it in a dealer ad in the newspaper). 73,800 on the clock. Only thing on it that didn't work was the factory keyless fob.

It still cleans up so shiny and nice that I forget that it's 17 years old, and I've owned it for 12 of those 17. Talk about a timeless look.

01 Sport. April '04 for 12k with 36,000 on the clock. Now it has about 87k. Its still drives like it did 50k miles ago, and it has a long life ahead.

spring 04. 91 sport 145000. he said he only drove it in the winter. paid 2100. $ it now has about 170000. I plan on driving it till death do us a part

I bought my 96 in March if 04 with 72,000mi on it for $3200

I picked up my 98 with a salvage title in trade for making updates on my brother-in-law's website. (worth about $500) it was hit front, but it came with a 3" lift and was in decent shape. but had 169k and DW...

I picked up my 2000 cherokee classic with 69k miles in may of 04 for $7300. At the time, it blue booked for over $11k... I got a great deal. It now has 112k and it's never given me a problem. (knock on wood)
