Your suggestions on cruiser motorcycles?

I'll let the kids have their toys. I need something that alittle more comfortable.

Look over craigslist in NJ, northern or central for HD's, like jeeps they can be had for what they are really worth not a regions inflated value tied to oil prices..
Here in PA wranglers seem to be tied to the gold prices, in NJ they are treated more as cars than some exotic overpriced 4 wheel drive..

I too am high on Honda's, very reliable, I have an '83 VF750R Interceptor with 36,000 miles on it, bought it around '92 with 10,500 miles on it for $1100, last weekend went up to Sonora from the Bay Area cruising along at an average speed of 100MPH (it likes going above 6500 rpm) and ran like a champ, other than routine maintenance I've never had to do anything except hold on and smile. Of the 10 or so bikes I've had in my life it's by far my favorite, i've done 140 on it and it's like riding on a cloud.

When I was stationed out at Camp Pendleton, I had an 84 Honda Sabre and I used to ride with a buddy that had an 83 Interceptor. We would go for day or weekend trips and swap bikes alot just to make things interesting. My Sabre was more comfy but the Interceptor was ALOT more fun in the twisties.
I had another friend I rode with that had a Yamaha RZ350. Little two stroke cafe racer. Man, talk about a fun a quick little bike.
