Just buy new ones and be done with it. They don't cost that much.

I haven't been able to get anything done due to the weather. I'll be working on it today, but I think since the oil pan is all jacked up, it's probably safe to assume I shouldn't run it. So I'm really not sure. I'm sorry.

I needed to get some new ones and they were $15, I think. Had them in stock for the '90 I have.

It was worth it to not get KO'd every time I got something out of the back. Real easy to install too.

I could use the little cover on the fuse box to the left of the engine that covers the area where the battery cable is bolted down.

did you just get em from autozone or something? I saw them on ebay for $80 plus shipping so that made me think that they're really expensive. Guess not...

ddeadserious- i'd take the engine off your hands if you could get it running and see if it was f'd up or not, but seeing as you can't-I'll give ya $100 for it, plus the peace of mind knowing that a fellow jeeper could use it instead of it going to scrap . You cant even put a price on that

80.00 seems like alot for them. Suprising, but yeah, there are ripoff deals on eBay too.

Or just go to a junkyard and get some......usually they are already gone though from the yards I've went through. They are a popular item to salvage

nope not bashing them, just surprised they stock the struts.
