Hey everyone, have a 99 blue XJ, drivers door got banged up bad from a hit and run, so looking to replace with a door from local junkyard.
They have a matching paint color door from the same year (Pq7) but in the classic trim package with painted trim.
My question is, can you remove this painted trim as easily as the black plastic trim on the sport models? I previously removed my faded black trim on my sport from the doors, and was able to easily buff out adhesive etc with no marks left. So I want this new door to match if I get it, it needs to have the color matched trim taken off.
