WTB: HP D30 with 4:11 gears

i bet rob would consider welding coil buckets back on, and youll need a new stock trackbar mount as well, maybe he would do that. he is still using the stock link location for the UCAS, so the only issue with the 3 link is the trackbar being raised. if you got his steering and trackbar then you'd be setup pretty good.

welding stock coil buckets back on, maybe LCA mounts, thats easy to do. shock mounts are easy as hell, double shear or studs, just weld em on.
youll gain the strength of the cryo r/p and the truss, which is nice, and the better brakes arent to bad. just some food for thought.

Thanks Jon! I asked him if he couold get it back to stock so we will see what he says. I dont need to locker and someone already asked for it so hopfully we can make a deal.
Thanks again for the help.

Nope, not from a yj like that one. Those wranglers are leaf sprung all around while our xjs use coils in the front.

Re: WTB: HP D30 with 4.56 gears

Seen this on craigslist this morning. Looks like it would be a bolt in deal.

Thank you Mike this looks like a great deal and I know it says in the title I want 4.11 gears I have changed my mind and I am looking for 4.56 now as as 4.88 are too deep for a D30, IMHO, and the 4.11 are not low enough.

I do appreciate you keeping an eye out for me though. :sunshine:

FYI
4.88 are not too deep. Ive ran them for years. youll wish you had 4.88s after you go 4.56. just go as deep as you can.

No problem. One came up a few months ago on craigslist with 4.88 and a solid diff cover for $300 so be patient and you'll find what you want. Good luck with the hunt!

The HP D30 is out there geared with 4.56 so I can run my 31's now and then switch to 33's next year.
I know you all are tired of hearing about it as this thread has gone on a while.
When the tax man cometh, and up-grades abound, then and only then will my axle be freed up to put under Babajeep. I can feel it.
I'm a dork.
