Hello all, I'm looking for a set of axles--D30 and a Chrysler 8.25. I'm not married to the idea of the 8.25, but I figured equal shaft lengths is a decent plus for the spares situation.
This is for a daily XJ that sees 80 miles a day with 30 of those miles being forest roads and corrugated desert road. It isn't going to be doing anything too crazy. I don't really have the time for rebuilding the current axles, so if you can pass on the word, that would be appreciated.
I'm not extremely picky--or at least I think I'm not:
4.10s (or 4.56) gears
locked, lsd, or open
no CAD please
HP or LP D30
rear disc conversion is a plus
any spline count on the 8.25
not a stupid crazy amount of miles on them
