WTB: Dana 44 3:54 in San Diego

Looking for a Bolt in ready to go replacement for the one I blew last Memorial Day. As with everyone else Cheap is the order of the day.
My 73 Chevy is costing me almost 600 a month in gas I need to get the XJ back on the road.

You might expand your criteria to include the 8.25, even if its only a temp. Solution to get you back on the road.

Yea, I have to agree with that!
Anyone know if i can go back to a Dana 35, I had to shave an inch off my Input shaft when I went to the Dana 44

I have a D44 with 3.54 and a trac loc. $300. Needs axle shafts. It's in Riverside.

I think i'm picking up a dana 35 this weekend, to get me back on the road then i'll rip appart my 44 and get back to you. Been almost a year since I was able to wheel
