It is a great upgrade in my opinion. but as mentioned, i seriously doubt Eaton will invest money into upgrading one of their products that will make it last longer and lessen replacement times. that would be like a battery company coming out with a battery that lasts 50 years. sure they would sell a bunch of them, but only once.
great write up. made me take mine apart but i did not find the wear you did. i bought it used so i have no idea how much use it has though.
