The Alpine radio is the key to the hardest trails :D

Just joking, lots of people have gone with a lot less.

Glad to see more kids coming. I will be bringing my three also. Make sure you bring them to the dinner afterwards. The campfire, maybe not.

yea, I don't even have a radio. :D

I'll be bringing my daughter this year as well, she'll be 19 but still my little girl.

Everyone with any size rig is more than welcome. And remember even the most experianced of us at one time or another had our first time. This is a great club with open minds that enjoy 'breaking in' the newb's.

I'm still not 100% sure that I am going, but I would also like a BB if I do get to go.

3.5" Rubicon Express lift
Not sure which tires I will be running but most likely my 31's/bfg at
front bumper
hopefully a winch by then
4:10 gears

I'm located about an hour north of Badlands. If the weather is decent, ill probably camp. If not, ill head back home at night.

so if it breaks, oh well:thumbup:

That's the kind of attitude that Wheeler loves. He'll spot you.

I pulled the radio last week, putting the CB there. I did WF with street tires on a stock suspension in a LWB MJ, so anything is possible.

You NEED to stick around for the campfire, which will likely mean you're not driving home.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, WF is about the event, not so much the wheeling (although the wheeling is great). The MWC is such a great group of people that you'd be missing a HUGE part of the event to miss the fire(s).

Nate, that's where my CB is mounted now. works well. I bolted the CB mount to the radio mount so it centers well and removes with two screws.

Agreed. If my XJ sells before WF I probably won't have a rig to bring, but I will still attend. It's more about the people than the wheeling for me anymore.

I would be intersted in doin this as well. I have never gone to any type of event like this (as a passenger or driver) and would like to learn the rules and how to do things right. I'm not sure that I'll have everything that is needed before the event thou.

Currently:

1997 xj
IRO 5.5 critical path long arm kit
H&T with CV drive shaft
cut front fenders
33 12.5's

would like to get some lockers before then...

You're situation is what this is designed for. We will very soon be getting more details and assigning BB's to those that believe they'll be attending. Lockers are nice, but aren't necessary. Remember one is better than none. If you do one I'd suggest front.

The BB's will also assist with making sure your rig is ready (we won't be wrenching, but giving help as what u need).
