Winterfest 2009

Me too :D got it mounted in the back :D

Yeah I even added another to my rig. One by the drivers seat and a large one in the rear.

just can't leave another Jeep on the rocks burning. I was almost sick to my stomach when i saw that fire start on Les' rig. I am glad it survived. My buddy had one that burnt to the ground

Sick to your stomach?? ... imagine how I felt when Rev hollered for me to give him my fire extinguisher and I had to tell him I did not have one. I had images of scrap metal in my head on top of feelin' like a dumass.

Mine is now mounted right behind the drivers seat on the b-pillar.

BTW: Going Saturday to get a "salvage yard" transmission (AW4) ... $150 pulled. Not sure if I'll go ahead and get the torque converter from the donor vehicle, or if I'll just buy a new one. Any suggestions?

what ever you gotta do to get your junk wheeling again :D

If (BIG IF) I have this weekend free, I can't think of a better pre-deployment party than this one.

Way too early to tell, but I'll put it on my calender.

So i am trying to follow along with the specific dates of this event and it seems to be scheduled now for the weekend of Feb. 27-March 1? is this correct? would like to know for planning purposes. Thanks.

Dates are in the very first post of this very thread. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showpost.php?p=243955261&postcount=1

Yes i know that the dates were discussed in the first page. Maybe i should have worded my inquiry in a different way.

How about this.....

What are the exact dates for the event?

I am aware that the original statement said March 6-8. But then a few comments later it was stated that someone wanted it moved to the weekend before? I dont think it was ever stated to the exact dates of the "new" time.

I dont mean to be a P.I.T.A. and i know it is still months away, but we cant just be moving this thing around on a whim.

I am really just tryin to get everything straight this year cause i missed it last year. And i Reeeeealllllyyyy want to make it this next time. So if i plan it soooo far ahead i wont have any problems of not making it this time.

Thanks guys.

The original date stands. March 6-8.

We can't please everyone with a date. We can't keep changing the date to please one or two here and there. Then, change it again two weeks later so another 3 can attend. The MWC BOD set the date and it will not chage unless the sky starts to fall.

You tell 'em Mr. President!! :)

Details?

OK

Friday March 6th - Potluck supper, you bring it...you cook it...we eat it. Campfire.
No orginized trail runs...however...there is always a few "pick-up" runs that happen as trails are being pre-run.

Saturday March 7th - Trail runs, dinner, campfire.

Sunday March 8th - Cuddle time before leaving for home. There are usually pick-up runs this day also

Does that help?

Friday March 6th - Potluck supper, you bring it...you cook it...we eat it. Campfire. Every one brings something to share. Usually some good grub.
No orginized trail runs...however...there is always a few "pick-up" runs that happen as trails are being pre-run. Basically for trails on Friday...you're on your own.

Saturday March 7th - Organized Trail runs, catered dinner, Legendary MWC campfire after dinner

Sunday March 8th - Cuddle time before leaving for home. There are usually pick-up runs this day also In other words, again, you're on your own.

Does that help?
