No worries you two.
I spoke with Brian this morning and he'll be delivering the loot himself.
Hot dogs too.......:D

Brian is just a puppet in my corporate empire. I like to give him little tasks to keep him busy and feel important... like talking to Mr. Hale on the phone :gag:

Whoa, just like dad?
Ouch, man, very ouch.
Besides, I thought they might hook you up on a deal to put something nice on that junk of yours instead of the ghetto 2x6 hanging off the back.
man, my ghetto 2x6 gives the truck character.
Now something for the front, sure.
Anyway, good to hear you fellas are coming down. Rocky will be pleased to have hot dogs again.

Daryl has mad ever since I gave him his promotion to cleaning the bathroom and offices. Plus he was heart broken that Haleyes did not want to talk to him.

It was a Winterfest business call, I was all business......no time for nonsense dilly-dally conversation. He would have wanted to talk about the Redbirds or another board or something silly like that. I'll give him a hug at WF.

Id really like to come to winterfest (im getting ready to send my $ off for my NAXJA membership) but have a few questions....
I have a 2000 with the re 3.5 full pack, 31 at's, getting my locker in the mail this week, but from what ive read i need 32's and some more stuff to be able to run some real trails, are the green trails worth coming for, or should i wait a bit and get my jeep fully up to speed for trails before i come? Thanks

Bring it however you'd like, but you'll have fun either way. There will be trails for all skill levels. Stockers to hardcore and everything in between. Don't not come because you don't think you're "hardcore enough". That's the last thing we want. IMHO, it's best to learn the capabilities of your vehicle before moving on to bigger and "better". IOW, run it like it is!

Hope to see you there!

Ditto to what Mike said, but let me add something. You could have the best built rig that is capable of doing extreme trails, but unless you have some idea how to drive that vehicle, it'll never happen. Come out regardless how your Jeep is built and run. As you gain some confidence, you'll push yourself and eventually move past the ablility of your Jeep. Then the addiction kicks in and really affects you pocketbook. ;)

As a side note, there are some trails there, that your rig is set up fine for. They will definately give you some pucker. Keep in mind you may get a little (or a lot) of damage ... this is a very real possibility in this sport.

I ran 3" lift and 31 mt's and open axles at the Big Dogs Run and had a good time. I did get hung up on some rocks before giving up on one trail, but I had a great time. I'll be running the same setup at Winterfest. Can't wait to represent the small lift crowd.

My first winterfest was run on 31" all seasons with no lift, and I had a blast.
Really its more fun around the campfire than anything else.
Come out, meet the people behind the screen names.
And for the record, I'm not a hugger, I prefer to dry hump.

Yep, my first WF I was at 3" and 30's and I had a blast.

Nate, how come I never knew about this dry humping thing before?
No way in the world would I miss that.

yo yo... im game to come... but will a stock XJ be able to do anything at this place?? if not, would someone mind if i rode along with them for the fun??? im pumped about coming, but just cant get the work needed on my Jeep before then....

You'll be surprised what your XJ can do stock. You will have time to try out your Jeep, and if you want to see the more extreme stuff, you can find a seat to ride in. If you have all the required equipment, you can run it stock.

In other words, just show up. You will be glad you did.:)

the only thing is... when i mean stock.. i mean stock.. this doesnt even have any tow points... and yea i dont have any recovery stuff, except a chain.. lol.. but im sure i will come.. i wouldnt miss this...

Chain is not recovery equipment.

peace

Come for the campfire. That's really what WF is all about anyway.
Wheeling is secondary. :D

can i get in without being a member?? and idk.. id be too tempted to try out my Jeep, im just stupid like that... maybe ill do that, and someone will be kind enough to let me ride with them....
