im talking about the (head console- the display package above your head that tells mpgs,temp,etc... )how can i make it work on a jeep that doesnt have one?
my jeep is a 97 sport
donor jeep is a 98 sport limited edition
Yes it should work fine. Most of the wiring should already be in the jeep under the dash on the passenger side. You need to pull the wiring harness that goes from the dash to the console from the donor jeep. You also need to pull the temp sensor from the engine bay. Should be near the front bumper somewhere. (not positive, maybe someone can chime in on this) Your jeep should already have this connector there. Otherwise its basically bolt in besides cutting part of your headliner for the brackets.
Things to pull from donor jeep:
-console
-front bracket
-rear bracket (should be where your stock rear lamp is)
-overhead wiring harness
-temp sensor for the jeep
