Well....I am married to Rev.

I am running for Treasurer.

I have been working at Lisle Savings Bank for 25 years and am currently the Deposit Services Manager. I have studied accounting and have a Assoc. Degree in Buisness.

I want to help the chapter out and feel that this position is the one I am most qualified for as numbers are my life.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

As my promise to not support any candidate in this election I will opnly say this:

There is a reason that I have a new truck and trailer, and it is not cause we have bunches of bucks. Susie keeps me from being broke.

Good luck Sue. I can't see any wrong coming from either candidate. You've been a great help to the chapter no matter if you win or not!

I have met Sue several times, and she takes our chapter and its business very seriously. She is obviously well-qualified for this position.

Good luck Susie!

I couldn't think of a better person for Treasurer.

Thanks for volunteering Sue!!

(and a big thanks to Mark for for being our Treasurer)

Let me play devils advocate for a moment with a few questions for susie.

Please bear in mind that I think that susie is a great candidate for the position, just asking a few questions that may be on the mind of members.

Susie, you were a Director on the MWC BOD, what made you change your mind to run for Treasurer.

Also, Rev, your husband is on the BOD, has this caused an conflicts over the last couple of years as you both have served? Have you had to spank him for disagreeding with you on an issue?

The national BOD provides a monthly statement to the members of the cash on hand that the club has, is this something that you would consider for the MWC?

I thought Mark would remain our treasurer, as he is the original MWC treasurer. I have always thought this would be my ideal BOD position.

I always want the best for our club, including not always agreeing with Rev. Yes he is my husband, but when it comes to a vote, he is just another BOD member. I cannot say it has caused conflicts for us.

I agree that we should use the national BOD as an example for our practices as well. I would be interested is seeing a sample of what the statement looks like.

Its included in the month meeting minutes...which brings my next question...what are your thoughts on a monthy statement from the BOD about what was discussed by the BOD.

Here is the link to the members forum BOD monthy statement which includes the financial report:

This information could be posted in the midwest xj's members only section if necessary so that only members could see it.

This is not a bad idea at all in my opinion, but we do not always hold a monthly meeting so it may be a moot point. A financial ledger made available to the chapter members is a good thing and as mac mentioned, I think that if we were to decide as a BOD to do something of that nature it would be posted over on MWXJ in the members forum.
