I lead the green trails. I would suggest rock rails and a transfer case skid. Other than that a stocker will have no issues running lots of trails at Badlands. IIRC even without rock rails, Terrehautian didn't sustain any damage. I won't push you to do anything you don't want to do or your jeep isn't capable of. Mine is also a daily driver, my drive to winterfest is within AAA range though. :D

I did the green trials a couple times in a stock rig. at most you may get a little rocker damage. other than that you should be ok.

i didnt see anyone else say it, so i will, you will need front AND rear tow points if i am correct.
 
My twin brother and I will be attending. Signed up for red (hard) trails both days.
 
We are considering this heavily. My work usually plans its annual training around this time, but I have to call them on Monday and see what is going on with what. Then we can plan this and I can get preregistered. I also have been looking at a combination of C4x4 front hooks with a front receiver to give me both the sideways pull strength, as well as front unitbody support. Once I get what I am proposing installed I will post up. I have used a strap around the axle tube in the past, and it has worked well, but I do need the front tow points anyways, so its an excuse to get something up there, and two of my options are looking pretty good. Also my rear springs are my only bad spot, being that they are inverted, so when I hit any bump at speed, the tires like to rub. Hoping to get a lift kit ordered when tax time rolls around, but got to see what's up with other projects.

• Visibly charged Fire extinguisher
• First Aid Kit;
• Tow strap (no metal hooks allowed);
• Safety belts anchored to factory mounts or vehicle frame;
• Spare tire, jack, and lug wrench (unless you have beadlocks and are able to unlock one or both axles;
• Adequate tow points both front and rear, properly attached. NO welded hooks allowed.
• CB Radio
• Battery securely mounted (bungee cords don't count).


Front and rear recovery is required, most use a reciever in the rear and C4x4 (or factory) hooks in the front.
 
I am not sure what my attendance will be, I will be at the dinner for sure. I would like to make it to watch the barbie jeep racing also. Between wedding stuff and things related to taking care of some things with my grandma, I have not been able to do anything about my moms van and the people I have tried to come look at it have not made it so she may have my Jeep still. Will be there in 2015 both days for sure. To the BOD, what I talked about after last winterfest is still on and will transfer funds on the 31st.
 
I have green trail rubbing on my XJ that has been up there twice wheeling. Of course I am stock with rear sag.
