I am installing a sleeved/reinforced tie rod, i got for free. figured, might as well install new ends.

rockauto lists 25+ ends from $7 to $33.
advance auto parts has moog for $45, house brand for $20.
quadratec has "oem" parts for $16.99. they also have a RH thread, and a LH thread that they say will fit either side. http://www.quadratec.com/products/56118_08.htm

shouldnt be this confusing to order some good ends, that i wont have to replace after 1 wheelin' trip.

which ends have you guys gotten, and have been happy with, pricewise/performance?

GENERALLY

a $7-$16 end is an END...you screw it on.

a $33 or even a $55 end is a drag link...still listed as a TRE. Some catalogs don't list a drag link as a drag link.

As far as the R hand or L hand...I dunno. They'll FIT, but you have to know if it's a left outer or right inner. Especially if you're looking online or at AutoZone. A REAL parts guy will know.

Moog. Deal with local parts stores if you can because then you have a face to face for any warranty or return issues not shipping it back and forth.

I would say Moog but got hosed yesterday. Same part number but one was LH thread and the other RH thread. Should have been a LH. Another bad thing about ordering off the net but Rockauto is pretty good about setting it right.

Returned 2 Moog's because of cracked rubber boots within a month. 3rd one's been on there for about a year now with no problems, but I didn't expect that with a premium name like Moog
