where can i wheel in bakersfield ca?

ok, so the trail i went on came after this sign but it had a little flexible stick sign looking thing up a good inclined trail that had a jeep a quad a dirt bike and hiker on it... i think it was about or close to 38 miles from coffee road/rosedale highway

along the way i hit some nice puddles =)

the trail started out like this, a bunch of basically huge speed bumps... it kept me from speeding

going so far up came to this, then i had to choose =/ left or right... i chose left =)

getting towards the top of the first hill was kinda scary for my first rocky climb =) my jeep did awesome lol

looking over the top looking down at highway 178 in the canyon

next good climb, it was alot steeper than it appears

( to be continued )

also keep in mind my fiance too the pictures... its a good thing my camera has an auto shake feature or we would of never got a clear shot! i also got a video i'll prolly post later after i you tube it and they approve it

ALRIGHT! so i went back today with ajtorris, it was a blast... i wont say anything about pulling him back onto the road after sliding down the hill in the snow =)

anyway i remembered to take note... starting at rancheria road it is 15 miles to badger gap trail sign where it has the bench and table, then you continue on to the actual trail 6.6 miles later (give or take a lil bit) so approx 21.6 miles to this sign

its kind of up on the hill a little bit but not so far that you cant see it by just driving by, you will see a road that turns up the hill at the opposite angle in which you were going so you gotta do a switch back to get up the hill... i saw it in the heavy fog so ya..

heres my articulation pictures... =) she stuffs nicely in the rear.

and so thats that, when the snow melts and its dry we shall be taking the small trail again, whoever wants to go can go... if nothing else its a cool peaceful fun run

lol, im just happy it wasnt me... i gotta save 450 for my front winch bumper its hella decent i'll send you the link

aww man im only giving you crap, i had alot of fun today, if i would of went wide like you did i would of lost traction to im sure. were going to have to go again when thing's clear up, and actually we need to go further up and go down this trail, some creek path... either way it's just before evans flat. we could wheel all day up there, or we could go up to black gulch and take the back side and head towards highway 178 =)
