im going camping at the end of the month with some friends in Coloma and i was wondering if there are in trails around there. Were staying in an RV in an RV park. I guess its just called Coloma Camp Grounds but if anyone knows of any trails let me know. thanks :)

There are no designated trails in the Coloma area. Not much out there really.

You are almost there if you are in Coloma. Just head down 49 to Georgetown, then drive to the Loon Lake area. You can stop and grab a beer at Uncle Tom's Cabin.

And yeah, we jeeple gotta stick together. Thanks, JoesXJ.

I thought of another one. Head up Hwy 50 just past Placerville. You can do the 10-mile Strawberry Pass from Hwy 50 to hwy 88. It is not too difficult, but it is close and you'll have a nice view this time of year. I think it is still open.

Google it.

Strawberry takes about 2hrs one way, fun trail.

Just went through 3wks ago.

I left some cactus green paint on the large rock (different Jeep) a couple of years ago. I remember that being a good trail, but I think somebody moved some rocks around making that part of the trail fairly easy.

You are making me want to run up there. Any NAXJA members up for a SP run?

Typo....meant about 2 hours, also depends on how fast you drive. I am usualy doing 50-55 depending on how the tires feel.
