Last night, meat loaf, potatoes, peas, and yellow cake with chocolate icing.

Tonight, fried cat fish. I am going to my grandma's and she will fry the fish (I have the fish and batter). I need to see how long she cooks the fish for on each side. Last time I tried to fry fish, it didn't turn out that great.

Hopefully my dad and step mom get me the deep fryer I asked for Christmas from them.

It is a meal as long as it has a dead animal in it. Dont get me wrong, people can eat all the rabbit food (salad) that they want...that is fine, because the rabbit wont need it when he is deep fried.

oil temp is most important in fish frying 350-375 is great temp and use your eyes...floating and golden brown on both sides. cooler than that and it soaks up the grease and won't be crispy, hotter than that and it cooks to fast and your either going to have a perfect exterior and a raw interior or a hard rock outside and a perfect interior. it takes a while to get good at...mmm suddenly i want some walleye and crappie fillets

Tomorrow's dinner.

This pic can also serve as your teaser for Winterfest.

I'm guilty of sampling it. It's awesome! A few of the ingredients: Deer roast, Guinness, bacon...it's slow cooked heaven.

Went to Grandma's and we had dinner. Home made Mac n Cheese, Cole slaw and fried cat fish. I don't know if I had too much oil or something, but her cooking tasted better then when I tried to fry it. Of course she used to be a school cook back when they actually made food and not buy it to just heat up.

man i wanna go real bad...even can convoy out with collin, but that is a BAD time of the year for me. snow goose season is in full swing and i usually have 2 shows in new york that time of year...i'm going to try like hell though. as for the chili cookoff, i don't even care if theres a prize, i just want to eat an assload of awesome chili
