Had elk burgers tonight! First time I've cooked or ate elk. Good stuff.

Wyoming has over the counter cow elk tags. They are just over $300. My last trip out there was around 700 for gas(split 3 ways),food and licsenses. Its a whole lot cheaper to shoot a cow elk I'm building a new rifle and plan to head out next fall again. Im gonna test out a 300 grain berger bullet on at least one elk..

Monday night I had some walleye and curly fries. I used a simple recipe for the fish and it tasted excellent!



Tonight it's bacon wrapped venison backstraps with potatoes on the grill.

hope there was a bathroom nearby...i've eaten plenty of truckstop food in my day (no where near what you and dr moab have im sure) i always go for the chicken strips. at least the bbq sauce tastes good most of the time
