1967 Mustang - Red
It Started in the family with my older brother and 60,000 original miles. My dad bought it off a woman who widowed a car salesman who had it on blocks.
My older brother (non-mechanical redneck that he is) dragged it alot jacked it up in the back and general abused it.
I got it and found that he had never!!!! changed or checked the oil in the 3 years that he owned it and the 287 was hammered so I dropped a 302 in it with headers and a cobra dress up kit. Leveled it out and replaced the leather seats, dash, and sterring wheel. All original style of course from a mustang resto shop. Had that baby purring.
My little brother (non-mechanical at the time but quickly getting there because he recently purchased a 62 lincoln Continental) totaled it out when he and some buddies took it out drinking at 15.
I was at school at the time and did not come home that often. It was a year after the wreck that I was finally told that the car was gone. It still brings a hush over the family when discussed and I am present.
