Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Looks good bro... One thing though. Who stole your plates and replaced them with white squares? lol

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

i added some garage character, and i learned (jeep>fist) lol

Would you like to elaborate on this?

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

lol i was demonstrating that dents and scratched arnt something to freak out about, and that i really dont care if my vehicle has them. and also that im a dumb ass that now has a swollen right hand, cause i wasnt going to kick my door cause and i run the risk of not being able to pop out the dent with a plunger.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

If you didn't care about if you XJ had dents or not.... Then why worry about having to use a plunger. I think you do care.

And know your hand REALLY cares.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

touche! i dont really care about dents, but if they can pop out i would like to do so, and yes my hand really cares on this matter.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

lol. why didnt you just kick the door in? i've done that before.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

lol, and today i broke a wheel stud, or what ever there called off and now i need to find a place to press a new one in. oh and i also need to get new tires, and leaf springs still.... and finish my lift...

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

you dont need to press on the wheel stud, you take off the brake caliper, in our case, the drum, and you screw them on.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

yea im too lazy, knowing me i would have to take the axle shaft out, and its a C clipping D35 so its not worth the trouble.... i think i need to search junk yards around here for my old XJ or a D44

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

or you could just take it to a local tire shop and they can do it for you?

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

ur so lazy dude lol

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Use an open ended lug nut and impact to pull the stud back through.

yea but then i would have to buy an impact wrench... i'll just let the tire place do it.... mainly cause its not on my dime then, and neither are the tires :D but that means im at the mercy of my "anti-wheeling" family

see, we do give helpful Jeep hints every now and then around here

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

i got these put on a Discount.... Maxxis Big Horns 33x12.50x15 I am sitting at 5.5" lift all the way around

Nice bighorns Jay. I'm super jealous. My 32" BFG at's are wearing like iron and just won't give up.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

and i just snapped some upper shock bolts swapping in my raer JK shocks! today seriously sucks!

To swap out that wheel stud, just take the brakes off, then stick a thin wood block in there to wedge the axle out as far as it will go. Then drive the broken stud out, and then just use a lugnut to pull it back into the hub.
