What to expect as a Moab Noob?

Derek (jmaxj) is the only person I'd let spot me on Escalator. He's gotten me through twice with no problem.

He's got me through it enough I've figured it out. It works like this...if you are thinking "this is stupid, dangerous, wrong and I'm going to die". You are on the right line.

Sure. He got Curt's longbed up.

I'm just going to say coming from Colorado that Moab Brewery's beer and burgers... are complete garbage.. it's the planet Hollywood of Moab. Over priced tourist attraction trash. They've cornered the market as far as the booze are concernedand they have no competition so they think they can push their BS on all the tourists for top dollar..

Skip it.

Try Rio sports bar.

Half the price, better drink selection, no wait, no big ass hole touristy crowds.

I ate there last night(Moab brewery) I brew better beer in buckets in my basement. And I can cook a better burger in a damn pan on the stove.

I always spend some money in town but I may import my own booze ;)

Moab Brewery was alright, the Blu Pig was better. We heard great things about Pasta Jays as well, i intend to eat there next time im in town.

My wife and I really enjoyed Pasta Jays.. I will be returning!

I live in Moab and Pasta Jays is my favorite restaurant. In the summer, in the winter they have a limited menu, so we don't go there then.

Have you have forgotten the Moab diner for breakfast. While they are not open on Sundays (unless they changed their schedule since last year) they should be. I have always enjoyed their food. I have been going to Moab since 1999 and have gone there ever year. The Pancake House leaves alot to be desired in food and service. The last couple years I have eaten at the Blu Pig and I find their food and service quite good; their waitresses are always friendly. The Moab Brewery should be tried at least once to make your own decision; I enjoy their food.

I think the most important question here is....Do they have a place with good Mexican food?

La Hacienda has decent mex, not great, not bad, just adequate. There is a new shop in town that boast killer fish tacos, but I have yet to dine there.
