what is this ? just found a little roller bearing looking thing in my diff...

so i just found this in the diff?
any ideas?
i am not happy with this right now.

I am running an arb.

i am praying its a magnet for catching metal, but I am thinking its part of a roller bearing?

That's a roller from a bearing.

ya I know. but why the hell is it all by itself?
I think it must have been wedged in the axle somewhere, perhaps in an oil passage or something. with me wrestling the axle all around it must have came loose. the pinion spins smooth as can be and I was able to validate all carrier bearings in order.
