then I might actually get to work on the Jeep.

I forgot I have to get an inner tube for one of my tires, those stupid tunnels at the badlands put a slice in the side wall......

Air ratchet is your friend! :D

Get spare drive shaft rebuilt and converted to work on the rear, pick up a spare CPS, try desperately to get some bushings for these stupid RE leaf springs and swap them out.

Does yours squeak everytime you drive over a bump like mine does? Mine sounds terrible.

I got the Durango box in today. Just waiting on the JCR spacer so I can mount it up. Also need to get the pitman arm off the old box so I can get the swap done as soon as possible.

Squeak? No, I passed squeak 3 years ago. I've just recently worked my way through the popping and banging stage into an eerie silence....which is what has me very worried lol.

wow.. i missed you all..
Avon got graced by a tree and got smashed up.. She lost her grill, and dented her head.. And i dont think she'll be ready for the trek to Harlan.
However.. Mrs Crawler should be ready. i got some 4" teraflex coils and a block to fit on the back, just finished bolting up the 231 xfercase after the 242 didnt like the Spartan locker up front. She got some new rubber too. nitto's up front and Km1/km2 rear. Some added lights as well. Hope to see everyone there.

need to replace some nuts and bolts here and there. and figure out what is wrong with my pitman arm after a beating in tracy city. also need to make sure the dmax is ready for the long haul!

gonna attempt to start my t-case skid/trans crossmember this weekend. need to finish my pass side half door as well. otherwise i am ready to rock.

Pitman arm is off, everything is ready for install as soon as the spacer shows up.

Also, looking at buying a 5.9 ZJ. If I do and can put a new front axle in before the crawl, I may use her as my tow rig.

i ordered some blocks today.. cheap fix for sagging springs.
231 is in. just gotta get oil and adjust linkage.
I hope i can use the front drive shaft in the rear... we ll see.

windows this weekend, then I have 2 weeks to fix the Jeep properly.

I'm going to look at the 5.9 on Saturday. He only wants $1500 for it (145,000 miles) because he has been quoted $1000-$1400 to fix the issues in the differential. He dropped it from $2500 last week. If it is in good shape and I can get it for $1500 or less, then put $200 into it with a junk yard axle, I'll feel pretty good about. Then I'll turn around and sell it for $3700! :guitar:

Question would be if I had time to source and replace an axle before the crawl....

On a crawl related note, I did get the Durango box, got the JCR brace, and put on some spacers today. Going to bolt her up tomorrow night and see how the ole XJ does. Hopefully this is the end of my steering woes!
