What do you have to get done.....

suck down winch = Done

Was not on the list but.... swapped rods on my 97 brake booster.

Booster now does not boost! Time to pull it and try it again! I think its not holding vacuum.

ruh roh....

alternator rebuild is going to be like $70, new batteries $60 for the pair. I need to change out one u-joint and one support bearing and the wiener box will be mechanically sound.

Then I can use it to go get building material for the inside. Trying to wrap up the basics of the tow rig build this omnth, which will leave me plenty of time to delete the proportioning valve in the MJ's braking system, and rework my rear springs/hangers.

I'm half way through the cut and fold on my rear fenders, this Damn Job keeps getting in my way. I'm working 12 tonight and i may work 12's the rest of the week since its a short week for me! I need money for important adult stuff instead of Jeep Parts.......ok i'm spending some of it on Jeep parts! :D

I've got a bunch of stuff to do. Mostly centered around my new front 44 and a set of 37's.

We'll see how things shape up...

Well, the 44 is in and it's settin on the 37's....

I've got some "tweaking" to do to get it just right though.

all i need to do...

maybe paint my jeep. maybe not....

A '97 TJ has a rusted out frame? Was it a beach rig or northeast Jeep?

yup a new jersey jeep.... we pulled the frame out and coated it in POR 15 pre lift and after 3 years of hard wheeling and getting beat like a red head step child. the frame is flaking and has seen better days.

im headed to get a new one this week for it.

also trying to help him finish his d30. putting a truss, cryoed 4.88s, arb, chromos. should be as built as you can get on that turd.

1. Install leaf spring bushings so that I actually have bushings again (stupid RE crap!)

2. Rebuild front drive shaft

3. Rebuild spare front driveshaft and convert it to work as the spare rear DS

4. Take the trackbar (iron rock) and figure out how to make it stay tight.

5. Get some shackles and spacers to get about 1" more lift

6. Pray nothing breaks between now and a month after I get back from the Crawl.

Fixed a leaky rear axle. Replaced ac clutch. Waiting on a bracket to replace the one I fubar'd when a bolt broke off in it. ;) :gag:

I need to finish the stiffeners, add the sliders, add the roll cage, replace the radius arms, fab the front coil mounts, install CB, install winch, install cb, oh, and take a break, thats all!

Frame stiffeners - done
Radius Arms - done
Lower coil mounts - done
Winch -done
New cross member - done

Sliders next, cage looking doubtful since my first one.

-Recharge fire extinguisher
-Stock a new med kit so my WEMT skills are worth while
-Install rear discs
-Install new brake booster/master
-New rear brake hose
-Longer shackles
-Bumpstop
-Tranny fluid change

Fix anything else I break/goes wrong. It is the DD.

So the shackles and tranny fluid are done. Everything else still needs to be done, and oh yeah finish the stroker. Not all that much to do...
