What do you do for a living?

im ending my second year in college as a marketing/management major. still have 2 years to go, but im begenning to look into internships and things to get a little experience in the specific field i want to go into after i graduate. im interested to see what everybody here does and about how much i can expect to make as a salary depending on what i do with my degree. any advice you have, lets hear it.

i too have been wondering the same thing and was hoping for inspiration as i am completely confused as to what to do in college let alone life. so what do you people have a degree in and what is your profession

finishing up MS in ComputerScience while working for a tcomm company doing software development.
 
BS in mechanical engineering, I work as a design engineer for The Boeing Company but am also working with a group of engineers and business people to open a biodiesel plant in St Louis.
 
Dual major... BS in Psychology and criminal justice.... worked in corrections for a while, did some alcohol/ drug counseling for a while, now I work for the state as a case manager/ social worker for the homeless population.
 
BA in Economics and Political Science. Now an IT project manager for a federal contractor with the Department of Labor.

BA Culinary Arts, going for 2nd BA in Business Admin Contracts and Acquisitions.

I know you know I'm just joking, but technically, I'm a federally licensed (FRA) Class 1 Locomotive Engineer.

Bus drivers at least have to know how to steer.
 
AAS in Motorsports Technology (race car building, no revalance to the real world). 14 classes from a BA in Business Administration.
Technical Editor, build Labor Guides and Service Pricing Guides for new car/truck dealerships.
and I whine about how I should have gotten a degree out of HS and followed a better path, automotive industry can become very limited very fast.

have you ever worked at a dealership? I worked at many dealerships in MD and PA, I always wanted to own one, but as I get older I dont think I would want the headaches... depending on where you live, it will be a Million+ for the dealership, then most Manufactures must approve you as a retailer. you cant just buy a jeep dealership and start selling jeeps, Diamler must approve you and allow you to sell them.
