Do you get to use your Jeep to make deliveries when it snows?
I used to be a delivery driver (among other things) in High School when I worked for Pizza Hut...Aside from having to spend many nights running delieveries through out the year, I was usually first to be "asked" during bad weather...seeing as how the regular drivers all had 4 banger econo boxes (Honda's, Ford's, Dodge's..etc etc). I kinda enjoyed it during the bad weather because I could take my time on the run, and the tips were usually much better than average as people were grateful for not having to venture out in bad weather to get dinner. Through out normal weather it sucked as short distances + fast driving + Jeep = bad gas mileage and the tips sucked....not to mention I was trying to make money to pay the loan on the Jeep.
Long gone are those days....I was working on campus in the Engineering Department trying to help freshman not make the same mistakes most of us made when we were them 4 years ago. Lost that job this summer after 2 years thanks to the economy. Just got offered a job at Advance Auto on Friday...background check came back just fine and I did the drug test today..so hopefully i'll be starting there by the end of the week.
