What do you do at work?

I never really got into the porn thing, Don't get me wrong it was pleasant to drop in and see some fine ladies every now and again.
But I stumbled across a young gent watching something about girls and a cup?
I don't really look inside any more, I just pull the cord. Scarred for life doesn't begin to describe it.

:roflmao: made my day thanks :D

then You, my fellow MJ'r, are obviously not trying hard enough. Then again, I am in defiance ohio. Not exactly hardy stock up here.

How long you been doing it? Enjoying it yet? Dont you love stupid parents?

I guess I'll just try harder!

I've been recruiting for a year and half. Half way done! Its not horrible, but I'm ready to get back to the "real" Army. I hate stupid parents.

How long you been at it? I read your story on MJ a while back about getting chased by thugs....way to help a fellow Sailor! lmao :laugh2:

I am an IT in the Coast Guard.

I spend 20% of the day sitting behind my computer doing work, 40% dealing with computer illiterate people, and the other 40% I spend doing manual labor such as pulling cable and installing phones/work stations.

You forgot the 1% of the time creating bogus percentages to report on... :wave1:

i work in a kitchen. i cut up stuff in the morning from 7 to 11 or so, then cook stuff till about four. fun stuff.

.

I've done work that ranges from Superfund remediation design, to landfill construction and design, to water treatment systems. And this as been only in the last year!
i used to live next to a superfund site...charles george, in Tyngsboro, Ma. i heard its one of the biggest superfund sites.

I'm a multi-discipline engineer. I am a electrical/software/mechanical. I design large test systems for high power rf generators.

My classification is Inside Journeyman Wireman. We are fortunate to have the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (Berwick, PA) in our territory, so we have a repeat customer. There's a ton of stuff on the books, but nothin's shakin' yet. So' for the first time since I started working in 1971, I've got a summer off. I've only been an electrician for ten years, and in the Local for three. Even the scab I used to work for is idled right now. But if I was still employed in food sales, like I was for almost thirty years, I'd be busy as hell right now!

im a pipefitter/steamfitter/pipewelder apprentice, second year. three more til im a journeyman. currently working on a new building for the phoenix childrens hospital

I work in customer service for the largest furniture appliance and electronics retailer in the country. Deal with pissed off people who are barely smart enough to dial a phone, and surf naxja in between calls.

Haha atleast you have a sense of humor about it :)
You got to man. Im secure enough in my manhood. You get a lot of kids who think it's funny to make gay chokes to try and make themselves look cool in front of their friends. had a kid actually ask me in front of his class "So as a sailor, do you like c**k?" my response: "dude, I am married to a drop dead gorgeous asian woman who wants a child and has nice soft cuddly bits. So if your trying to proposition me, perhaps you should ask someone else." His friends laughed at him. Funny part is, he joined the Navy a month later.

Recruiting duty is very diffrent from the field, i find the better you where in the field, the harder it will be to adjust to recruiting. I've been doing it for just under three years. Next month is my last month, after that I check out and head to Chicago for school and then to San diego for 5 years. And that kid that I had to go help was one of my first contracts.

I'm in the Coast Guard and schedule homeland security patrols...when my computer is working...lately spend 80% of my day waiting for someone from the IT shop to fix my previously working workstation after an upgrade to Vista. The other 20% of my time is harassing the junior officers.

I haven't worked on any projects that far east. The Superfund site that I worked on is in western Texas and is an old oil refinery that was closed in the 1950's. There's a few million gallons of product sitting on the water table that we designed a pump and treat system for. Projected remediation time for this project is 20 years on the short term and should things go poorly 40~50 years on long term.

I'll look that Superfund project up tonight for some light reading. :)
Thanks!

I work for a Mercedes-Benz dealer as a Tech.
Often I think how could I be working for the company who killed the XJ and the 4.0, then I remember how chitty it is being unemployed, and realize how nice the cars are. :D

Air Force Strike Nav - in training
currently I am in my last few instrument simulators and next week I go back flight side to fly for 12 or so hops. Then I transition into VNAV and formation routes. Then I move across the Hanger to another squadron for strike training. I got about 8 months left till I wing. Hopefully heading back to North Carolina to fly in fighters after that. It is getting pretty hard but I love my job right now.

Automotive machinist during the week and carpentry/yardwork on the weekends
