What did you do to your XJ today

I'm going to hack my stock rear fuel skid mounts off and have the skid welded to my receiver hitch mount.
I broke off a few bolts in my stock nutstrips when i put on the tailbone so neither is installed right now.
 
decided that the light bar was going to be trouble when I smack a branch.. I plan to reuse the old lights as rear and rock lights...

so I welded some mounting tabs to the front bumper. and also cleaned up the sides and did a little bed liner work

I mounted them in a way that they are still semi protected, yet not blocking the radiator flow, also it gave me an excuse to use bed liner on the bumper... I would say as far as stock bumpers go it is pretty darn slick

Got a few things to fix it before it's done...

And got my rock chips in the windshield fixed be for they killed the windshield
Guy did a real good job, can barely see them now

My fuel pump died on my way home from Steven's Pass on Saturday. Fuel cutting out at freeway speeds is a little unnerving.
 
Did my annual XJ wash yesterday and unloaded the camper after a weekend of camping.
Taking it easy after the past 9 months of balancing school and work

Thats why mine is parked, got a fuel pump that works when it wants too also. Maybe the end of the month I can order one up.

WTF is this bad fuel pump week or what??? I just did a fuel pressure test on mine and found my pump to be in the crapper too :(

The heep was backfiring like crazy through the intake around 2.5k rpms while accelerating
