What did you do to your XJ today

I drove it to work so the rain would help remove the Liberty mud:yelclap: ..
The trip over the pass did that to mine, Howard. I washed it Monday and found a few new dents up under!

Still had clumps falling off in the parking garage at work Tuesday. :roflmao:

All fun! I loved Stump hill. :D

Looks good. I may have missed it but have any plans for some support for the quarter panel guard area of the bumper?

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I added some corner gussets today between the sliders and main tube portion on the inside. I also plan to run a tube off the side of the slider to the frame. Between those two pieces I believe the sliders will be able to take a good amount of abuse.

I'll have a few hours to work on it tomorrow, so I'll get some pics.

I finally got my "new to me" drive shaft slipping again last night. So tonight I can rebuild the CV joint and I can start on the TC swap and fixing my 4wd linkage. I'm tired of getting under the jeep to switch it into 4wd.

Damn Wax your forever getting down on your rig! Everyday i hop on here its all you upgrading. Good job wheres a picture of it

Lots of incomplete projects Ive had parts for, but no time. I've planned most of my wedding so now i have time to work on the jeep. I'll post up pics tonight, I haven't done anything pic worthy in a couple days, tonight will be different

:us: Well after breaking in the XJ the proper way for a jeep to get broken in. I replaced the rear leaf springs.

finally told the jeep, "jeep, you are gonna have to run NWF on 3:55s"

i had been trying hard to find a window to get down to seattle area to do gears, but don't have the time off to do it.

might have to find a local shop i can trust here in canada.

Burned out some corner gussets yesterday.

Made some tail light fillers today.

Thought about attaching the sliders to the frame, but convinced myself it would be alright with out them.

Then I burned it all together.

Spent a few hours grinding and sanding it all down. Have a few spots to touch up, but it should be ready for paint either tomorrow or Saturday.

Then it's on to the other 20 things to do before NWF.

Pressure washed, sanded off all surface rust, and repainted my new bumper.

Had a big tree branch break off a tree during a pullman windstorm and hit my hood so I hammered it back a bit and primed the bare metal.
