What did you do to your XJ today

installed new nut stips in the back of the jeep, reattached - relocation brackets and tank skid. Now I need to drill out the hitch so I can reattach it also... what a pain in the A$$

Started today with this:

Thought about attaching the sliders to the frame, but convinced myself it would be alright with out them.

Dustin,
I have taken some monsterous hits on my rear sliders (whole back of the Jeep coming down on them from several feet) and I don't have any attachment from the sliders to the frame and I don't think you will miss it.

I was more concerned that IF I did need them it would end up damaging the rear frame? Either way, I think you will be fine without them.

Looks good!

Wired up two in-line fuses to replace broken/corroded ones in the fuse panel. Replaced a headlight, and a spring in the passenger seat.

I thought about posting that in advanced fab, but its fine here I guess.

....... SPEACH!

Installed a new TPS. I don't want to jinx myself, but I think that was the cause of my quirky idle issues.

I also noticed my rear pinion seal was no longer doing it's job. So I changed that out today as well.

Then I finished off the night with a little bit of work on the passenger side half door. I'm still debating if I'm going to run them all the way up to NWF.

I would decide after checking the weather report.

Today I trimmed a lil more off the front fenders so they contour to the cage better and finished em off with a lil trim-lok. Put the hood vents back on. Installed the driver rear trim panel, still need to do the pass side.

cpl days ago, i replaced a few halogen bulbs, rewired and mounted the front fogs so they are now rock lights. rewired the rears also so they actually work again.

Still need to re mount the air tank and hi-lift this week.

Should have some final pics posted in the Mojo V2.1 thread in the next few days !

Woot Woot !

went ahead and pieced my exhast back 2gether from memorial day and FB5. shortend it so it dumps out in front of the rear axle. just a cheap glass pack.

Decided to paint the bumper gloss black to make it match the front ARB.

Took off the old hitch, mud flaps and brackets, bushcrackers, bumper caps, stereo stuff, and started gutting inside.
