What did you do to your XJ today

trailered the xj to my dads ,took out my wiper motor that froze up, pressure washed, found out i have a rod knocking, fixed a fuel problem, tinted my tail lights very little

so yesterday i cut 1 inch off each end of my long arms. now the spring is better

But it looks like you may need to take a little more off the back of the fender

Ordered a new JCR stage 2 rear bumper for it to get rid of my Current one without a receiver.

1991 C1500 2x4 is the spec I gave the guy ... interchange:

actually i need to make the link longer. not all the links were taped and drilled deap enough to bottom out the himes so i got to staighten the axle a bit lol

i got the rear breakline on and rear shocks on. just need to blead them and get the front shocks on an give every thing a once over. then off for alignment.

the problem i have with the front is the fronts didnt come with a barpin to mount them to axle. and the ones in my billstiens arnt coming out. so i am going to go to 4wheelparts or oly 4x4 and get a barpin eliminator kit

Tape measure align that thing first because you can get it real close to what you need before you spend the money on an alignment.

Last night i sold scatterbrained a 242 i had sittin around. Then met up with larsen and bought some stock shocks for my jeep. Gonna put em on tonight.

how do you use a tape measure to align the tires?

find a center point on each tire front and rear of the tire and have the front side about 1/8 th toe in

Just ordered some RC 4.5 coils so I can due away with my spacer and procomp sway bar disconects

Loomed-up the plug wires. Double-checked front suspension fasteners, topped all fluids, charged the battery .. then I rubbed on the chrome til I got worried about going blind :wow:

Well.... first off today i went to east side steel down here and got 20ft of tubing and i strapped it to the roof of my xj.....
