new rimz. A lot more to come.

:D:thumbup:

Hell ya mike. And I have been thinking about my upper link and how to build it, and I think I finaly got it. Im going to plate the inside frame where it mounts to, then weld some 2.5" square tubing to it. Then I m not going to have the bolt go threw the floor, so instead im going to drill a hole threw the frame all the way to the outside to run a long ass bolt, then sleeve it inside the frame. Welding the sleeve to the frame plate and frame itself. Making it a strong SOB!

Gross!

Made some progress. Chased down some short circuits, installed a new remote box, radio vs the IR remote that the 90 cane with.

Fixed the sunroof so it would close again, after Led opened after we put in the cage, and then I couldn't close it completely again.

Started installing the air system. I used the back seat catch, cut a slot through and used two SS hose clamps, plus a bracket in the back to hold the air tank. Just need to work on the wiring for the compressor and horn and finish plumbing the air line.

I picked up some Toranado calipers from the JY today. Hope to get rear disks on my D44 soon.

What kind of cage is that??

What kind of cage is that??

LOL...... it's the cage out of my old "HeepII" XJ. After Mike (in4aride) flopped and then parted out the old Heep, I cut the cage out, sold it to Fred for his 2dr, and now it looks like Fred and Led got busy and got it installed into Fred's rig finally....

I bought it like that. Calipers drums shoes pads rotors, all bad. Not no more. Now time for fuel filter and total tune up, and change every fluid that is in it. Then start the lift.

Latest update:

Swapped out the TCU that Troy sent to me ( thanks again ) and it didn't seem to make a difference.I then unplugged the harness from the TCU and left it unplugged, drove the rig while shifting maunally and it seems to be good.

Any thoughts?????
