What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

Y but I dont think I needed 3' of DOM lol. Spent a little more then I thought I would, and alot will go to waste lol.

Yeah, but it's always better to have extra than not enough. Besides, you never know when you can use that extra for something else.

Did you weld those arms up yet? You're more than welcome to use my welder, or I can weld them for you too if you want.

Installed new ball joints today no more death wobble ))) upper ball joints actually broke when using the pickle fork guess that was the poping noise i was hearing on msv/coney trail

Very very true. And who knows how much we have to cut off lol, and redo?

No I dident, because Im still on the boat about lengths of the arms, Im prob just going to wate till I come up to you place to cut and weld them, I dont know though. Im prob going to sell my belly skid, and make the arms just a tad longer, but I want to keep my upper at the same angle as my lowers so I dont want to go to long. This weekend Im going to spend some time really measuring. And see what I finaly come to. I think I wana do a 27" lower, and a 28" upper, If I have to go with a 25" upper then Im ok with that. It all kinda depends on the upper. If I have to go with a shorter upper to keep the angle the same as the lower then im ok with it. All ive been doing it reading about dam 3 links, and it dosent really matter if the upper is longer or shorts. Mostly it depends on what it takes to get them the same degree.

You free Monday the 26th? I can miss school that day so If so, can we throw it all together that day?

Anyways! Got my Barns4x4 mount welded today at school. had to sneek it around my teacher to do it, just have to weld the back brace on it on Monday

Mhm sexy!!!!

I should be free that day. If you can take your roof rack off prior to coming up so your Jeep will fit inside my garage. That way even if the weather is crap we can work on it.

I think I will fit. Measure your opening and let me know. If I have to Ill air the tires down to like 5psi so I can get it. My racks a PITA to get off!

I know the top of my Jeep's windshield is about 79 1/8" tall and it barely clears under the door. So I'm going to guess my door is about 80" tall.

X2 :D
