Well DUH! let me rephrase it: What are you planning on building with your fancy cutting machine?

I just pulled my front bumper off for final welding, it is really light.
Will have pics up shortly.

It was a bit of a pain to come off. It is so tight! I am going to be filling in some space with 22g plate (PITA to weld) and I have to finish weld and grind some stuff smooth. I am happy to have it almost done. Not bad for a 15 year old!

Oh and I just finished the last part of my 10lb roll of .035, good thing I happened to have a full 10lb of .030!

Has anyone purchased on of those huge 30 or 50lb rolls for the miller?

That thing looks like it has eyebrows and a smile.

If you want some help welding that thinner sheet in there let me know. I've become pretty good at it and have my welder dialed in where I need it.

Looks good btw, glad to see my bender was able to help you along.

I have a lot of experience welding the thin stuff thanks to doing rc cages and stuff. The .030 helps a lot too! I am welding it in hot keeping the heat on the tube and then tying it in.

And thanks for the bending help!

well scratch out my last list of stuff to do.

Tonight on my way home my motor went south and is now in jeep Hell... so a new motor is now at the top of my list.

yeah i know, it ran fine for like 5 miles and then just went south at an amazingly fast speed

That engine lasted a whole lot longer than it really should have........ you got alot of time/use out of it before it finally let go.

Lift is in tons of problems, details to follow...

Started the Golectric electric water pump/fan development. Have the controller mounted to the center console down by the center bezel and most of the wires ran. We are doing two different installations. I am going to do a two speed fan (Taurus) version and Rick will be doing a single speed (also Taurus) version. Will provide photos and descriptions in a dedicated thread once the bugs are out...

Since I plan to drive this same vehicle for years to come, I'm starting with reinforcing the sub frame and unibody. After that I can hang these axles I have sitting around. Eventually there will be bumpers, and a winch mounting system that suits my needs.

As long as she can drive it to the grocery store and Dr appointments, I should be OK. :)

Thanks Kiefer, ill be taking you up on that offer once i get another motor!

I have no idea what the miles on the motor are because it was supposedly rebuilt at some point, but the body has 200,xxx on it
