What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

My tone wasn't aggressive at all, I was merely stating the facts. I really don't care if I'm considered to be a sheep who supports the machine. I'm a 10+ yr veteran in the armed forces, I voted for bush and would again, I'm a republican, and I work for the federal govt. Call me sheep, I don't care. I also listen to primarily punk music and heavy metal, used to sport a Mohawk, have way too many tats (and want more), and generally can't stand the same conformist society I help protect. Hipocracy my friends is the one true constant in the universe and all the anti-social ideals in the world don't amount to shit once you have to make a living on your own and can't just go on being in mommy's basement. Even more so when you have a family of your own. SLC Punk pretty much nailed it on that one.

You sound alot like me Dutch :greensmok

I think you both sound like you forgot to take your happy pill this morning -- or you took the red pill and now you see things all too clearly. I agree with nearly every word, though I'm tat-less, and I do my best to avoid hypocrisy, so I avoid all things government like the plague that they are... /hijack

What am I doing to my rig... driving back and forth to work of late :(

lets hug it out, bitch.

I work for the Government, happy pills are not allowed....................... :bawl:

Truth indeed. I'm fairly certain that the rank of Lt. and above are mandated to take anti-happy pills though.......

Stiffeners almost fully welded, just need to finish welding along the top. Got the sliders welded to the stiffeners and the pinch seam welded to the sliders, need to finish fully welding them tomorrow. Grind them down and throw some paint on them tomorrow andI should be good to go. Need to go get some smaller shims for the rear, as the new crossmember dropped the tranny a little and my angle is way off and vibs are crazy. THe pinion is greater then the shaft lol. So I need to fix that. But heres what it looked like after today

Need to cut the wackers a little on the bottom to and bolt them back on as well!

I just replace the radiator on the Durango, that was a hoot. :D

I know your pain Dutch. My wife's best friend's Durango had the electric fan go out and it got hot, blowing a tank seal. I had to swap out the radiator and to save money, bought an aftermarket elect. fan to put in place of the stock...... Half the dadgum front clip has to be loosened or removed to get the radiator out...... :banghead:

Actually I thought it was easy. I had the entire radiator out in an hour despite having to learn as I went. The bumper comes right off with 4 bolts, remove the 2 screws holding upper fan shroud on and disconnect the wires/hoses for the windshield wash resevoir and that's out of the way, 8 13mm head bolts that are all on top plus the 2 10mm head radiator mount screws and the upper support is out of the way, 2 10mm screws and the consensus flips to the side, then disconnect the upper and lower hoses and pull the radiator out enough to make the elec fan connector and tranny cooler lines accessible. After that's it's out and on the floor. It's by far one of the easier radiators I've had to deal with.

You ever have another Durango in need of a radiator swap just send them my way. I'll have them in and out in about 3hrs easy. :)

Funny how much faster it goes the second time.

Well last night was my first time and it only took me 4hrs total start to finish. That includes me going on a 15 mile road test, stopping by King Soopers for more windshield washer fluid, and cleaning up a bit. I even snuck in a Klondike Heath Bar while I was cleaning up. :D

Fine....... Kick me in the nuts for being sympathetic....... :moon:

:D

I could get accustomed to this little machine. :)
