What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

I think I'm going to quit being lazy and try flipping my shackles around to see if that will keep them from inverting.

New tailights biaatch!!!

I swapped out to some LED taillights and added in some reverse lights too. Once I get some 1" tube then I'll frame in the reverse lights.

Well I did some work to my rig today. But saturday I did a struts on a dodge neon. (Troy, I knew it was a dodge but didn't know which car.) Struts took about 3 hours for all 4 corners. Made 220 bucks.
On to my rig. picked up The set of drop brackets with braces from Troy.

Got em installed today.
While I was working on the neon I got pissed off at my compressor and went and bought this.

:D So far i like it. Its not exactly what I wanted, but I can always sell it. Plus I like the warranty!

Got some work done to the Blazer buggy......... sorta. Vermin removal.

Fawkin mice have taken up residence....... snap-trapped 3 of 'em so far. How they're getting up into that thing in the first place simply amazes me.....

They are pretty good jumpers and climbers. I've even found one dead-ended at an air brake valve portion. It had to get in a 1" hole at the end of an air hose, through 15' of 1.25" pipe, to get stuck in a 1" strainer. The lil' fooker was mumified when I found it.

I haven't found any evidence (droppings) around the back porch or garage, but we must have a few of 'em around the yard. They've been snatching the dog's dry food from his bowl. I opened up the grill a couple days ago and there was a fist-sized pile of dog food in the bottom corner. 2 weeks ago, I pulled out the ramps from the trailer (2.5" square tube frames) and when I stood one on end to flip it around, another shit-ton of dog food came rolling out.......

I remember that! Was VERY odd!

It was 170 for the impact and batteries I bought a set of deep well sockets and the 3 year extended warranty for 25 about 250 for everything

I run my craftsman chrome sockets on my impacts all the time at home, nice thing about it is when they do crack I go into sears and get a new one. I do have impact sockets that I mainly use but I don't have any 1/2" dr deepwell impacts so I make do with the chrome ones. Next time I'm at Harbor Freight I'll get me a set and save the chrome sockets some grief.

Whoa...... YOU bought that trailer/camper Jon? I saw that a while back, I think on Pirate or CO4x4 or somewhere........ that is one awesome camping rig....

Yeah, I found it on Pirate. I showed it to my wife the day it went up for sale, but it was out of our range at the time. I've been eyeballing it since and it finally dropped enough I couldn't leave it alone. It's got 2 #7000 axles, a 33' deck and 17' camper. I haven't even seen it other than the pictures, but I looks pretty clean. I hope to be picking it up in a week or two. I can't believe I'm gonna put my pile on the deck of something nice.
