WF09 To-do lists

And to anyone with a stocker concerned about how it will do, the single biggest improvement you can make is to disconnect the swaybar. Ditch the rear if so equipped, and if nothing else, unbolt the front links.

you hit the nail on the head man!

Make sure you have another set of end links because they are probably gonna break. I ditched my rear sway bar and got a ton of flex out of it. Its still just as stable. I'm not exactly sure why there was one in the first place! :dunno: My little jeep did way better than i thought at Redbird. I hope to have my W2's in the next couple days so i can order some AJ's superrails!

Well I am a stocker here.... I hadn't planned on driving it on the green trail, but I just aquired about $500 from a refund through my college... Was thinking some sliders, and maaaaybe a front bumper? What do you guys think, I meet all the major requirements for inspection except I have no front tow points.....

Austin (Gona hate the 8-10hr drive....)

P.S. If i decide not to trail ride it, I plan on bringing all my tools for a "repair station"....

here are some disconnects...and JKS is a Naxja sponsor.
this will give you much better articulation.
it keeps your wheels on the ground when
you are on uneven surfaces.
I would get this before sliders.
and take off the rear sway bar.
these disconnects are an easy install.

I was thinking about those, but I know i have a 3in left in the future, so it'd be kinda pointless to get em now... I was planin on disconnecting mine fri night when i get there...

I think the JKS quicker Disco's will adjust for 0-3 inches of lift!

edit: maybe not! :D

Yeh I looked at those and a couple others and most say 3' or greater or 0-2'.... Thats why i was gona go sliders and just disconnect front sway when i get there.... Then I gotta figure out if i can get a decent bumper with remainder of $$ or if i gotta get tow hooks *shudders....* Sorry I started that topic on another thread...

I seen your other comments on tow hooks. There not bad if used and mounted properly.

That is a distinct possibility, although I'd feel safer with a 8-10hr drive with em intact.... An update on what to do, I'm looking at AJ's Super Sliders and JCR Offroad Sliders , maaybe a Bumper from em too.... What do you guys think? As for the tow hooks, I guess I'm kinda interested into the D-Ring kit from Hi Country Offroad..... Anyone else have kits like this?

If you ever plan on doing bumpers, then your tow hooks will be unneeded, so just buy something cheap if that's the case. I've got JCR stage 2 sliders (the girl wanted a step, although I think she had more of a running board in mind, but...). Anyway, they work great.

And I've driven my jeep with 5.5" lift cross country multiple times without sway bars, never had any problems, just don't drive it like a sports car.

score ya a set of sliders and the d-ring kit and you'll be good to go and you will also have some of that $500 left over

Make sure you bring another set of stock endlinks because they are most likely gonna break when you try to unbolt them!

I replaced the endlinks this last spring when I replaced all 4 shocks. (3 out of the 4 old ones were bad... O.o) But I planned on it anyways....

Made from 300M stock, hardened, cryo'd. Caps are made from 4340 cromo w/no bushings and no needle bearings. Now if my powersteering cooler would show up from PSC I'll be installing the goodies before WF...

Beef, it's what's for wheelin'

nice, those are on my "want list" but mamma says it will be a bit after the new long arm kit and 35's :D
