some of you guys in sleeping bags should consider splitting a room at the Attica Inn 765-762-3699. They have two beds to a room and it runs about $75.00. There will be plenty of other Naxja WF XJ's there. It is about a mile and a half from the Badlands and they welcome off-roaders and their trailers.

I have heard stories of WF attendees that have found a warm bed to sleep in with some of Attica's finest "women" (a term used lightly to say the least)
Get rid of the bead leak in the two front tires.
Install new CB.
Find another electric fan from a Land Rover. Sure are hard to find.
Install new bushings in all control arms.
Find Badlands flag from Winterfest 06. Around somewhere.
Fix tranny seal leak. Probably not.
Load up spare parts and tools.
Find a way to get my 35" spare inside with the back seat up.

haha! That it did my friend, that it did. I tell ya what, in the ways of good karma, I will buy Hale a prime rib dinner if he can make it to dinner one night with us.

- Install CB
- Figure out where to mount spare when XJ&TJ4ME hooks me up
- Determine if my transfer case is boned (the other day it only wanted to move in 4LO)
- Fix rocker panels (pulled the molding and most of the rocker came with it... saw someone on here that made replacements... can't remember who though?)
- Buy a full size tow vehicle and trailer
^^ Probably not going to happen before WF, but if it does then I will know no fear on the trails.
--fabricate front bumper
--Mount Fire Extinguisher DONE
--Order new rear leaf springs (snapped the bottom leaf on one side) DONE
--Order New Tires (stepping up to 33s!) DONE
--Trim Fender wells in the process
--replace clutch (maybe?)
--Rear Main seal
And if I have time:
--The doorless mod and some tube doors!

Finish wiring up CB, mount fire extinguisher - and the rest is will be decided if I get a bonus or not for last year (should be finding out in a week or so). CB up and running so thats done - had to order a rollcage mount fire extinguisher mount and it should be here in a few days.
Going to be dressing warm - no heat in the jeep - lol. I'm going to let the wife decide if we go open top or closed top.
If I get a bonus and it comes in time then I am hoping for a front locker.
And to anyone with a stocker concerned about how it will do, the single biggest improvement you can make is to disconnect the swaybar. Ditch the rear if so equipped, and if nothing else, unbolt the front links.

great advice john, aside from making sure that a stocker meets the trail equipment guidelines (i e tow points) the very first thing that i would add is rock rails...
