We're buying a house!

Congrats Billy! How far down Bradshaw? Near Lincholn Village?
Uh, how in the heck can you two afford a house in Sacto? :wierd:
Sounds like it's time for another XJ! :repair:

Speaking of an XJ. How far do you want to travel? :laugh3: Lisa and I looked at an '87 2 door Pioneer with a 44 under it yesterday. :gee:

Thanks Kevin! I think it is in Lincoln Village. You go south on Bradshaw and make a left on Lincoln Village Dr, then turn Left again on Viking.
We can barely afford it, and that's with help from my mother-in-law. She's helping with the monthly to get the tax write-off (because she doesn't own a house now and has no dependants). I don't know how much I can spend on a new Jeep yet, but I'm keeping my eye out for one.

Congratulations. And may your free time not be taken up with home improvement projects. (Don't rush to get that project rig just yet, as my grocer has informed me that the honey-do's are ripe!)

There's a really good Mexican resturant on the left, down about a 1/4 of a mile after turning on Lincoln Village. Can't remember the name, I think it's a womans first name.

Congrats Billy!! Did you get the seller to pay your commission too? :laugh3:

Thanks. We enlisted the help of a good resale agent on account of my lack of experience, but she was nice enough to give me 25% of her commission for my help (and because I'm licensed)

HAHA! Sounds good, but it won't be until the end of august (they're renting back until their new house is ready).
Thanks,
Billy

Ha! They have to pay to live in a house they use to own!

Congrats Billy! You helped me swap a 30 in your mom's driveway, you know you can call on me to help move.

Yeah, sucks for them... not to mention that they're renting it for our new mortgage instead of their old mortgage!

Thanks a lot Phil... I'll keep ya posted.

From experience DO ALL YOUR PAINTING BEFORE YOU MOVE IN... even if you have to sleep in the garage for a week or two. It is such a PIA moving furniture around as you do a room, doubles the time.. Oh, that includes the garage floor painting too. Owning a house on your own property is great.
