Weekend of 10/17 Badlands

Yep one loose lug nut left.

Neal lost his wheel on the highway at Harlan. I almost lost one at Harlan. Craig said he caught a few loose lug nuts the other day. And now this. I think Neal's X has lug nut AIDS and all our Jeeps are catching it :(

Awesome day, got over some things I couldn't believe, and now have some very tore up rockers and some mean dents in my framerails. As always, a quality MWC experience around the campfire.

Everyone took off Sunday morning, but since Neal and I live so close we figured we'd go out and do some wheeling. Ended up running the TREC course 4 or 5 times. Neal broke a bead in the middle of the sand and we had to search for some plywood to set the hi-lift on. Wish I would have run the course sooner in the year, because then I probably would have ended up racing. I'll be there next year!

Also spent 20 minutes or so watching one of the buggies and the #318 ZJ launch off the first big hill at the start of the course. Pretty sure getting 5-6 feet of air is what I need in my life :D

Neal's Xterrable

That is great, I will be re-using that!

Most definitely a solid time! I wish I could have had my rig together for the trail run, but there is no way I would have ran as hard as Brad and Neal did on the TREC course. That is a tough ride. Great times around the campfire. Thanks for the pizza, Brian! Can't wait to see everyone at RedBird.
