Weekend of 10/17 Badlands

you all have a good time while I am back here painting Collins XJ and working on the combine...I am hoping things will slow down a little in the next month so I can get back to wheeling a bit more...

Its gonna be a loooooong day at work today were slow and i want to play in the dirt

Finally called and got my reservation, I'm at site 10. They were out of electric-only sites and were running out of electric+water sites so if you need/want electric it might be worth getting a reservation.

The jeep is loaded..With only two hours sleep in the last 24 hours ,think I'll get a good nights sleep and see everyone in the mourning.

well i got home last night and passed right out on the couch, sory we couldnt stick around, i kinda dragged my brother out of bed that morning and he pretty much forgot every thing including a sweter or jacket and his arms started turning purple, did that race ever start?
any way we had a great time, im glad i caught up with you guys, i didnt take any pics :twak:

my only damage was a missing flair i dont know when it left but i have an idea, thats ok though i planned on going flairless any way:D, also if any one saw me struggleing to put my swaybar slowdisconnects back to geather i just gave up and drove home with out them, not sure what i will be doing either making the holes bigger or just going with out it

thanks for the good time, and the pizza

I had a great weekend.
Big thanks to John for letting me be his passenger.
like John says, it is the campfire and social gathering
that makes the MWC what it is all about.
wheeling is just icing on the cake.
once again, Brad and Neal came through with the turkeys.
here are my pictures

BOB

I had a good time, too.

Major carnage on the way home.. I can't believe the thing didn't shake sooner, letting me know something was wrong. I came off the exit for home and the whole jeep started shaking like a wheel was falling off. I looked back at the noise as the jeep was slowing down.. I see lug nuts flying out of the rear driver's wheel on the road. Heres what I saw when I got out and checked.

Yep one loose lug nut left.

Damn I got lucky.. Trashed the wheel though.

Had a great time.. Thanks for the pizza Brian. Can't wait to see all the pics.
John ,thanks for posting that crazy hill climb pic Neal and Craig talked me into.
Did ya'll notice the cameraman in the pic?? He's from the outdoor channel they were filming some atv's till we rolled on to the scene...:D

Brad tell Neal he cooks a excellant bird.

I had a blast. Thanks Brian for the Pizza, Thank you Bob for helping me avoid flopping my Jeep, and Thanks Nick for me almost making a mess in my pants! Hope to do it again soon.

Oh and thank god for that locking lugnut Nick! Glad it was only a wheel and not something worse.

what trails did you guys end up riding there?

We did Red trail, and ran green since we had a couple smaller rigs without lockers(me and Neal's Xterrable :D). After the quarry i went back to camp and i'm not sure what else they ran.
