Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Rented a mini x this last weekend and dug out a pine stump. Then set them on fire.

Hey y'all...I'm still around and alive. Haven't done much with the XJ in a while. I get it out about once a year. I did pick up Jeep number 14 last August. By far the nicest truck I've ever owned. 2022 Sting Grey Grand Cherokee. IMG_4507.JPEGIMG_4575.JPEG

Found a mouse nest inside the center console of my XJ. Cleaned it up. Spliced some chewed-up wiring. Put out traps and also some peanut butter and baking soda for good measure.

Going to be installing some Ironman beef.

Me and my oldest son went to Coalmont OHV last Saturday and had a blast. It was a little wet but I prefer that over eating dust! It was the Jeeps first trip out and it did fantastic. I was really surprised at what the 4 cylinder could do. I’m not saying I didn’t kill it a time or two I’m just saying it did really well. Big learning curve for me, that was my first trip with a 5 speed. He took his Frontier and considering the length, it did good.

That looks fun!

It felt good to get out in the woods in a Jeep again. A combination of leaf springs, questionable shocks and broke down old driver seat, made for a sore back the day after…..

I took the sway bar off the Jeep…..that counts for something right?

Been working on a lean too to store the new mower and my slab leveling table.

That looks good! Be careful though. I see some tools in there that could make you hurt yourself..... Can't be too cautious, you know, when you get old....:devilish:

Of course I say that from experience. 🤣

Weekend is almost here......What's the plan?

Well, I got a little peppy today and changed the oil and greased up everything. I don’t do well with pictures but….
Previous owner used a Fram filter and I’ve always used Wix so out with the old and in with the new.

While greasing it, I came across a broke grease fitting. It’s the upper shackle bolt grease fitting in the driver rear shackle. I’m not sure how to get the threaded piece out. Thoughts?

I also took a picture of the reason I have an exhaust leak. 2.5L.
