That is the Jeep that is in the picture on the window at 4WP on Nolensville Road, isn't it.

That is the one. Is it still up on the window? If so, it's been up for many years.

that leaf sprung pile was a boatload of fun! Tim and Tyler get drunk one night at windrock and winched it on its side. When i got back the next morning to find it laying on the passenger side in its parking spot they stone cold straight faced told me the wind blew it over.....

It was windy that night.

That was a Flog trip many years ago....2008 or 2009? Good times.

It is....or was. I talked to the manager the last time we were there and asked if I could have it when they took it down. I don't know if it's still there or not.

no the wag had the stroker. the bumblebee jeep had a stock motor that ran way to well to warrant cutting that thing up.

The waggy was the one you had at Callantee that time?

Jeep's a bit delayed, the new rear wheel bearing refused to seat all the way even with a 12 ton press and mapp gas torch, going have to cut it off and try another one.

Getting some more work done on the racecar, finally...

started plating over the rusted out section of the rear frame rail

Finally got my heads installed, I got them back a couple weeks ago after getting them converted to screw in studs so I could run push rod guides, but I've been lazy. Running 0.015 thick steel shim for head gasket. The screw in studs I got were too long, had to cut them all down 1/4" and file the threads back clean, took a while.

New rockers didn't clear the old valve covers, had to order taller ones. Don't like how the breathers are one front and one rear instead of symmetric, but I'll live I guess. Still need to make block off plates for the exhaust heat riser before I install the intake, but it's time to drink some whiskey right now instead.

Started some cup holders and new push buttons to open for my half doors the other day.

Also ordered some Profender threaded air bumps so I can finally get some good bumpstops and also help the issue of my driver coil coming out under heavy droop.

Should get those this week and have them mocked up and installed. Next is relocating the battery and some electrical rework.

Bad things happen on the highway when a severe vibration isn't taken care of. 215k on that jeep and it runs like a champ.

What year is that? If anyone comes across a 99 up Jeep 231 with the 6 planetary gear set in that shape I'll buy it for a reasonable price.

I got one for ya now. It was "rebuilt" recently. The guy that built it didn't put the c-clip back like it was supposed to be. So, it needs to be pulled apart and the c-clip needs to go back on it (But I'm guessing you just want it for parts?) Came from a 2000. $80.

We just need to work out logistics. You sure it has the 6 planetary in it?
