Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Hey all y'all with Facebook accounts, please help me out. I'm up for Truck of the Week at Top Gun Customz from east Tennessee.

I'm up against 5 lifted pickups and 1 dropped pick up. I'd love for a hand-built little XJ beat the all-show no-go shop built diesels.

Right now I'm 5 likes behind. The winner is whoever gets the most likes.

Thanks!

Their stuff is not really my cup of tea. Seems to be a lot of guys that just have trucks built for show. Overcompensated ridiculousness.

I figured it would be good for them to be knocked down a notch by a junkyard build with dents and a small budget.

Plus I am curious what is in the winners grab bag!

Thanks Doug. Make sure Sam likes it too!

I tried but the link just took me to their page on my call phone and couldn't find your picture. I'll check it out when I have access to a real computer with access to FB...

Just knocked this out in half the time I expected... Got it to run this pattern on the 2nd try. Whoo hoo. I'm sure it could be better but I'm quite pleased with this.

.006" Backlash, 30 in/pounds of pinion bearing pre-load and a decent pattern.

About to hit the road. Tonight I'll be in Aiken with the rents at the homestead. This weekend I'll be having fun in Chattanooga, TN at my old HS. 25 year reunion weekend here I come! Save a spot for me at the Pickle Barrel!

Took a step towards getting the red rocket back together today. Went and picked up a good TSL, two spares, and one that is 14.50 wide (I'm running 36x12.50). Some 5x5.5 rims to boot.

Yesterday was a pain replacing brake lines/calipers/wheel cylinders on the YJ. My superman complex dealing with rusty jeeps is over. This will be the last one.

This is why I am going through the hassle of making a 2wd XJ 4wd. Alabama rig until this year :D

I'm going to Moab in the Morning! :D :D :D :D
