Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Went fishing all last week, had a good weekend at home with friends being dirty no goods learning how to slack line, came into work today and got fired, Fantastic.

Damn dude! That sucks!

Got 2 new Spicer joints and snap rings to put together my alloy axles. I need to get them installed and in the Jeep before this Saturday.

Broke in my new Ruger yesterday. I was shooting all over the place and figured out when I got home that the rear sight was loose. Someone was slacking at the factory. Tamed my Mosin down with a $20 butt pad. and remembered that I need to buy an AR! :D

Damn! How does that work?

Bipolar manger that I have always butted heads with had a week to prove her case to the owner without me there to defend myself.

It's not the worst thing in the world I already have 3 job offers from vendors I worked with. It's going to be their loss and a time to move on to new opportunities. It should say something that everyone else wants to jump on me the day I leave. Worst thing is that I lost my company wheels and gas. Good thing about loosing that truck is that the Jeep is already washed/vacuumed and will be on the road this week.

Eh, you didn't need that BS. Looks like you and Tim both are onto better things!

X3. Like you and I talked about at lunch today, it's definitely for the better. Best of luck to them on finding somebody to do all the work you did and put up with the sh!t at the same time. When I broke the news to my vendors a couple of weeks ago that I was changing jobs I got the same response from every one...."Damn you're leaving? I really enjoyed working with you..." Just goes to show that you were doing something right.

One more thing for you to be happy about....no more being on call 24/7!!!

So since Ed thinks i forgot about you guys. :D I'm thinking about going to Land Between the lakes Some time around september. Y'all are more than welcome to come. I'll post up an event closer to September.

Two of my now former Italian co-workers flew in the day I left last week, one of which this is his first time in the US. The three of us went out for beer Friday night, then two of us went out for beer/lunch and a tour of downtown Sunday afternoon. All food and beer was paid for by them :D.

Were getting into canoe tripping.... I think 8 to 10 miles for a day trip should be a fun start. I want to do the 50 mile blueway route through chattanooga, it takes about 4 days at an enjoyable pace and there's camping all along the route, the French broad into knoxville looks fun too

Yep, i would say a 12 mile float on a lazy river would take all day. We fish/yak on the upper James and it is laden with class 1's so it moves along good with a little bit of paddling the slow holes here and there and a whole lot of fishing.

If I fish hard i can stretch a 5 mile float into 10-12 hours on the river.

one is being built this summer.... we'll have to meet in the middle and sling some brass

3 hour drive to go shooting? Yes sir! Brad and I are driving 7 to Tyler's in MO to shoot here in a couple weeks! :D

I've done close to 30 miles in extremely slow moving water took about 8 hours. 50 miles over 4 days would be at an extremely slow pace what are you tubing? lol

Do you still have access to the burgers for the Crawl potluck?

Nice! LOL!

Garage makeover this weekend. Spindles are at the house. Guess I have to fix the jeep.

I'd come help if I was closer and not have other plans. I still want to come visit with the boys some time.
