Thanks! Its actually Valspar Massey Ferguson Grey Tractor Implement paint. I sprayed it on using a 26gal aircompressor and a paintgun. Turned out awesome so far. Im gonna let it cure and itll buff out real nice. A lot of the third gen F-body guys have used this on their cars also. I figured if its good nough for a tractor, its good nough for my weekend warrior. At 30 bucks a gallon you cant go wrong. Much better than my last spray bombed paintjob.

Did you find those pliers?

Had a thought today while driving home....the tires on my car are louder than the mud kings that are on my Jeep. After the crawl I think i'll work on fixing this....

Unfortunately I couldnt find them, I found like the attachment pieces to change it out, but not the actual pliers itself.

Got the gears today that I ordered from Tyler:

Thanks Tyler!

You're very welcome man!

I really like the Nitro Stuff... if you notice, the install kit even comes with the oil slinger. What other company has kits that complete? Heck, the new JK kits even come with new axle shafts seals.

If anybody else needs axle parts just let me know. I almost guarantee you I can beat anybody else's prices!

What kind of shim assortment do they come with? Some of my friends have said they really don't like certain install kits (I forget which, honestly) because they come with either weird shim assortments or shim assortments that aren't big enough, so it takes them a while to get the right shim packs built up.

It really depends on what type of axle and how it it shimmed (ie either behind the carrier bearings or outside them). But they seem to have a pretty good assortment.

This........... My 80 dollar paintjob.

I'm ready to get working on the axle. Old man hasn't finished the bench he's building for it yet because the timing belt snapped on his Honda last week, so his car's in the shop taking up all the work space while he waits for the cylinder head to come back.

Damn thing wasn't due for replacement for another 2-3 months.

Now that lacrosse is over I'm ready to play. I spent today getting the trail rig out of storage and getting it ready for some short trips and then i got the kayak out and got it ready for some fishing.

My two favorite things to do!

Were getting into canoe tripping.... I think 8 to 10 miles for a day trip should be a fun start. I want to do the 50 mile blueway route through chattanooga, it takes about 4 days at an enjoyable pace and there's camping all along the route, the French broad into knoxville looks fun too

Went fishing all last week, had a good weekend at home with friends being dirty no goods learning how to slack line, came into work today and got fired, Fantastic.
